Anyone who knows me knows that my eyebrows are always done. If I have to spend 10 minutes to get them precise, believe me, I will. As I always say, eyebrows give the frame to your face! This NYX Micro Brow Pencil is my ride or die. Honestly, I ran out last week and had a mini panic attack lol. It has a thin tip to precisely outline the eyebrow and a spoolie on the other end to blend things in. I wear it in the colour espresso and it blends in perfectly with my brows. I always have this tool in my kit.
Every good makeup collection needs a reliable setting spray. I’ve always had oily skin, so my go to setting spray has been this Matte Long Lasting spray. It controls my oils so well and keeps the makeup in place all day. I work as a nurse running around all night and my skin still never gets oily when I finish my makeup with this spray.
The first time I tried this concealer, I was sold! the formula is light in consistency but still gives full coverage. I like to use this concealer to cover up dark spots/hyperpigmentation (I think it would also work as a highlighter to brighten under eyes). A lot of times I would just wear this concealer without any foundation. That’s how great of a coverage it gives.
I love to accentuate my lips with a lipgloss. This gloss literally feels like butter going on and smells amazing! I use this in the colour praline, and it gives a neutral look to my lips while making them look juicy. It also lasts longer than I would’ve imagined. If you use a lip liner underneath, It will also even that much longer. A matte alternative that works just as well is the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream.
I will admit, I was a bit skeptical of this palette because I’m use to buying higher end brands for eyeshadow palettes. One day, I was at the drug store and saw it on sale. I figured I’d give it a try and if I didn’t like it, I wouldn’t purchase it again. I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried it. The pigmentation is outstanding. You really don’t have to use a lot to get that desired colour. With it being a warm neutral palette, it was right up my alley.
