My Favourite ‘The Ordinary’ Products

Hey Everyone! Welcome back to another post.

Since I love The Ordinary products so much, I wanted to do a post dedicated to my favourite The Ordinary products so far. I discovered this brand back in 2018 and have loved it ever since. Not only are they super affordable, but they work like a charm. I also love that their products are natural and unscented. This is what really drew me to their brand. Below I have 5 products that I’ve been using consistently and can say I can’t live without.

The Ordinary Products

Hyaluronic Acid 2% +B5

Hyaluronic Acid is probably one of the most talked about products from this line, and rightfully so. I always have this serum on hand and keep a backup in my stock at all times. The way this serum makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated is why I name it in my top 3 favourite The Ordinary products. I like to use this serum just before bed because that’s when I use my thicker hydrating products.

Salicylic Acid 2% Solution

This is a runner up to the Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution for me. Every time I go online to buy this, it’s always sold out!! As frustrating as it is, I understand why. If I have a stubborn pimple or breakout, it clears up my breakouts within days! I’ve tried other products containing salicylic acid, but none has worked as fast as this solution. I usually use it as a spot treatment opposed to putting it all over my face. Another great alternative to this is The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Masque.

Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution

I previously mentioned this in my Skincare Savings post. Click here if you haven’t read it. I was so glad when I discovered this toner/exfoliator because it has drastically changed my skin. When I tell you that this solution brought radiance to my skin in 2 weeks, I am not kidding. It’s definitely a game changer for me and I highly recommend it to anyone who is experiencing dull/uneven skin tone. An added bonus is that you get a 240ml bottle for less than $10!

AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

I was drawn to this by the all the hype on social media. I kept seeing everyone put this blood-red mask on, so I finally had to give in. Upon first impressions, it definitely tingled, and I’ve never had sensitive skin, so I was a bit scared. When I started using it more, I saw improvements in my blemished and blackheads. I only use it about once every couple of weeks and leave it on for 5 minutes and it still works wonders!

Lactic Acid 5% + HA

This exfoliator works similarly to the Glycolic Acid Toner. I have this in my favourites because I’ve found it to be amazing for textured skin. When I saw the reviews on it, I had to try it for myself. In about a month my face felt and looked smoother as well as brighter. What I like to do is use this interchangeably with the glycolic acid since they are so similar in nature.

These have been my go-to facial skincare products that I always try to keep in my stock. With this line being so inexpensive and effective, Its hard not to love their products.

Let’s chat in the comments. What are your favourite ‘The Ordinary’ Products? Which ones haven’t worked for you? I’d love to hear your suggestions.

Thanks for reading and stay beautiful!
